KMIP 3.0 Status

KMIP 3.0 Profiles/Test Cases

  • Tim H continues to work on updates that came out of the Interop to the spec, profiles and test cases. He believes that he may be able to break the back of that in roughly the next 4 weeks.

KMIP 3.0 Specification

  • Greg is waiting for updates from the test cases and profiles for specification changes.

KMIP 3.0 Usage Guide

  • Judy F is waiting for the updates to the Spec, Profiles, and Test Cases and for additional Usage Guide content.

New Business

  • Tony C has been invited to speak at on KMIP 3.0 at ICMC this year.

  • A discussion was had about getting KMIP 3.0 to at least the public review stage for ICMC. Tony C said that he would work on a timeline of milestones for that to happen, taking into account working with the new system and changes to the process.

  • Judy brought up including the new post-quantum algorithms from NIST's upcoming publications (FIPS 203, 204 & 205) into KMIP 3.0. A review of the drafts is needed to see if there is enough information for the algorithms to be included.
