Standardization Progress

KMIP 3.0 Spec CD01 and KMIP 3.0 Profiles CD01 Public Review and Publication

• KMIP 3.0 Spec CD01 and KMIP 3.0 Profiles CD01 are now available for public review and comment.
• The public review for both ends August 13, 2026 at 23:59 UTC.

KMIP 3.0 Usage Guide CN01 Public Review and Publication

• KMIP 3.0 Usage Guide CN01 is now available for public review and comment.
• The public review ends August 15, 2026 at 23:59 UTC.

KMIP 3.0 Test Case Document

• A decision was reached to have the co-editors of the Test Document create a version of the document for KMIP 3.0.
• Then the TC will decide if the Test Case document needs to go out for public review or not.

Special Topic: OASIS TC Study

• OASIS is doing a study to understand what is needed to help TCs thrive. The study focuses on a range of areas including: OASIS processes and support, external TC impacts, events, and conformance & Interop. Tony Cox is meeting with the TCs on behalf of OASIS.
• Tony surveyed the KMIP TC members on the call to get feedback on the study's areas of focus.
