TTLV encoding discussion
- David Featherstone, like to propose changes to the encoding scheme for attributes to make it efficient for processing, comparison. Refer to reflector where it is discussed. Not sure about the process of making this change.
This is forward compatible, can happen in 1.3 or in 2.0
- Tony: Concerned about backwards compability
- Hal: Modern computing power should not have any issue with string based comparison
- Subhash: This is probably late for 1.3, submit a proposal for 2.0 at a later time and need minimum three approvals from tc member companies to bring forth any changes to the specifiation
Call for late arrivals - Subhash
