Motion to approve previous meeting minutes from August 13, 2026

• Judy moves, Tim C seconds. No objections, abstentions, or comments. Minutes for the August 13, 2026 meeting are approved.

KMIP 3.0

Standardization Progress

KMIP 3.0 Spec CD02

• The public review for the Spec ended August 13.
• Comments on the Spec were received
• Judy posted Public Review Comment Resolution KMIP 3.0 Spec CSD02 to capture the TC's review and disposition of the comments.
• Discussed the Disposition of Public Review Comments, Next Update and Standardization Steps
• Tim H will sync with Tony C to review the received comments and update the comment resolution document with the disposition. They will also create a new revision of the KMIP 3.0 Spec to incorporate the public review comments.
• Judy will request the reports that TC Admin runs against published documents and get them sent to the KMIP 3.0 Spec and Profiles editors so that they can address the identified issues in the next update of these documents.

KMIP 3.0 Profiles CD01

• The public review for the Profiles ended August 13.
• Comments on the Profiles were received
• Judy posted Public Review Comment Resolution KMIP 3.0 Profiles CSD01 to capture the TC's review and disposition of the comments.
• Discussed the Disposition of Public Review Comments, Next Update and Standardization Steps
• Tim C and Tim H are working to resolve the comments and will update the comment resolution document with the disposition. They will also create a new revision of the KMIP 3.0 Spec to incorporate the public review comments.

KMIP 3.0 Usage Guide CN01

• The public review for the Usage Guide ended August 15.
• Comments on the Usage Guide were received
• Judy posted Public Review Comment Resolution KMIP 3.0 Usage Guide CND01 to capture the TC's review and disposition of the comments.
• Discussed the Disposition of Public Review Comments and Next Update
• Judy is working on resolving the comments and updating the comment resolution document.
• Judy will create a new revision of the Usage Guide to incorporated the public review comments and the issues raised in the TC Admin documentation report.

KMIP 3.0 Test Case Document

• Tim C has started a draft of the KMIP 3.0 Test Case Document. Since there was not a KMIP 3.0 Test Case Template he has been leveraging the KMIP 3.0 Profiles document as a basis.
• Tim H noted that since the Test Case Document is non-normative the KMIP 3.0 Usage Guide may be a better document to leverage. Tim C will take a look at the KMIP 3.0 Usage Guide CN01.
