Student access with VPN

As a first step you have to install the Wireguard client you are able to download here.

After you have done that you can get your VPN tunnel config from the project webpage.

Log in with the username group@ethz.ch and your group's password.

Once you are logged in you should see the following webpage.

Now you can select any of the router names, add a peer and click to see the configuration.

If you try to connect a phone you can just scan the QR code within the wireguard client, else you will need to download the config file and then add it in your wireguard client.

After having added the tunnel, you can click on activate, and you should be good to go. Your device should now be able to reach devices within the mini-internet. Try to ping your routers to confirm. You will also find some statistics about your connection both in the wireguard client as well as on the webpage in case you need to debug things.
