Ephrael Stern and Kyganil are really 2 units in one. They do have some shared abilities.

"Cast together by fate" is basically the same as "Company Heroes" from the Lieutenants datasheet. We will simplify the wording a little, since you don't have the choice of only taking one model or the other. They also have to be within 3" of each other, instead of 6".

"Unexpected Allies" is the same as the last part of the "Authority of the Inquisition" ability, or the Assassin's "Execution Force" ability. However, neither of those rules seem to exist in Apocalypse, meaning that you will lose your faction ability if you include them in a different faction's detachment. This is probably because there is no real downside to just adding another detachment. We will exclude that ability from this datasheet as well.

"Wanderers" has 2 parts:

1. They cannot be your warlord
   • This does not appear to be supported in the datafiles currently - the assassins have the same rule, but they are missing the commander ability. We will be opening a ticket in the base repo.
2. They get Deep Strike (they still have to deep strike together"

For PL, we are going to make them cost 7. This matches Karamazov, since they have the same PL in 9e.

Ephrael Stern

Ephrael Stern's Datasheet was built using the Canoness datasheet as an example. Her move is 7" instead of 6". She is stronger, tougher, and has a better invulnerable save, but all of that is only a difference of 1, which in general is not enough to matter in Apocalypse.

Her weapons are almost identical to the Canoness', so we will reuse the Master-Crafted Weapons profile from the Canoness.

For Daemonifuge, we are going to use Eldrad Ulthran's "Executioner" profile. They are very similar in what they do in 9e. We will give her an additional +1 to hit if there are any Chaos units within 18".

In addition to the invulnerable save, Divine Protection also gives a -1 to hit rolls targeting Ephrael, which translates over with no changes

Kyganil

Kyganil's datasheet was built using the Harlequin Troupe Master datasheet as an example. His profile is almost the same, with the exception of his WS and A being 1 worse. We are just going to reuse the Troupe Master profile.

Kyganil carries a Harlequin's Kiss, which is one of the Troupe Master weapons, and The Outcast's Blades, which are more dedicated to anti-infantry than any of the Troupe Master's weapon options. We are going to reuse the Troupe Master Weapon profile, and improve the SAP by 1.

Knight of Shadows is the same as the Troupe Master's Holo-suit, which is why they get a 6+ save in Apocalypse. It also allows Kyganil to Fight First, but by reviewing various Slaaneshi datasheets, that does not appear to transfer over to Apocalypse

Mysterious Saviour gives Ephrael Stern a 5+ Feel No Pain, which generally translates to Ignore Damage (6+) in Apocalypse.
