We decided to use the Canoptek Spyder as the base for the Canoptek Reanimator, since the profiles are close enough to serve as a good reference.

The reanimator has 2" more movement, and the same WS/BS. It has slightly worse S and T, but it has 2 more Wounds. We decided to give it a 6+ save and 2W, especially since we are going to make it Heavy instead of Light.

As an aside, its not really clear why the Spyders are light. They have similar stats to Thunderfire Cannons, which are heavy.

The atomiser beam is very similar to the Particle Beamer - worse range, but better AP - we improved the Reanimator's SAT to cover the additional AP.

We kept the Automaton claws as well, even though they are slightly better than the Reanimator's claws. Sometimes we just get lazy.

For the Nanoscarab Reanimation Beam, we decided to keep things simple and just copy the Repair Barge ability from the ghost ark. We just removed the "NECRON WARRIORS" qualifier from the rule and called it done.

For PL, we decided to go with 8 - It costs 2 more PL than the spyders in 9e (6 : 4) so we kept the difference in Apoc (8 : 6). This might seem a little pricey, but remember that Spyders have to pay extra for their Particle Beamer, so really the Reanimator only costs 1 more PL.
