#Archaeopter Chassis

The Archaeopters are very similar, stat-wise, to the Stormhawk Interceptor, and we used that profile as our base. The Move speed is is slightly worse, and the leadership is slightly better, but everything else is ported directly.

We also reused the Armoured Bulk profile and Hover Jet ability from the Stormhawk Interceptor.

For the Chaff Launcher vs Command Uplink ability, we chose to just drop the Chaff Launcher option. It simplifies the profile, and the chaff launcher doesn't really map into Apocalypse well. We listed it here as part of the "Dreadnought Toughness" section.

Maneuverable Craft can be ignored - all flyers work that way in Apocalypse.

Airborne and Hard To Hit are combined in "Supersonic" in Apocalypse.

Lastly, non-superheavies don't explode in Apocalypse, so that is ignored.

Archaeopter Transvector

The Transvector is equipped with 2 Cognis Heavy Stubbers, and a Twin Cognis Heavy Stubber. Luckily, profiles for those already exists, and we reused them.

We copied the transport capacity over from 9e almost word for word, which might cause some weird keyword mismatches. Tbh, we didn't even check. shrug.

For PL, the Transvector is 7 PL in 9e, compared to the Stormhawk's 10. In Apocalypse, the Stormhawk is a staggering 16 PL! We got out our 8e codex to see why, but in 8e, the Stormhawk was only 9 PL. Then we checked the Stormtalon - 8 in 8e, 9 in 9e, 9 in Apocalypse. The Stormhawk cost has to be a mistake, it just does not make sense for it to cost that much. We decided to follow the Stormhawk's example, and made the Transvector cost 5 PL, matching it's 9e cost. We added the Stormhawk to the probably bugs list.

Archaeopter Stratoraptor

The Stratoraptor has 2 Cognis Heavy Stubbers, which already exist in Apocalypse, 2 Heavy Phosphor blasters, which already exist in Apocalypse, and a Twin Cognis Lascannon, which already exists in Apocalypse. ezpz.

Other than the guns, the only difference is that it has no transport capacity. It costs 7 PL in 9e, so we will match that in 9e.

Archaeopter Fusilave

The Fusilave has 4 Cognis Heavy Stubbers, which already exist in Apocalypse.

The Fusilave also has a Bomb Rack ability - this is almost identical to the Voidraven Bomber's Void Mine ability - the Void Mines mortal wound on 3+, while the Bomb Rack does so on a 4+. Bomb Rack is also multi use, while the Voidraven is once per game. We will steal the apocalypse version of that ability, but make it reusable and 1 less likely to succeed.

It costs 6 PL in 9e, which we will carry over, just like the other two.
