We have a few general guidelines for how we are maintaining this ruleset:

1. We are trying to have a light touch, so that updates to the base repo can be easily ported to this repo
2. We are not trying to "fix" balance issues at this time
3. We are trying to stay as close to the original datasheets as possible for units that have received new Models/Rules - Ghazghkull Thraka is a good case study for where we are trying to draw the line in terms of "extending" vs "rewriting" apocalypse
4. We are not trying to be perfect - we are just trying to allow everyone to play with their cool new models.
5. We are using 9e and Apocalypse as our sources for creating new datasheets and abilities, even though Apocalypse was clearly an offshoot of 8e. This is because, surprisingly, the new edition brought a lot of new models. This causes some strangeness, especially with things like Primaris units, which consistently have 2x the Wounds as their diminutive counterparts in Apocalypse, which is no longer true in 9e. In cases like this, we lean on rule #3, and try to keep the patterns as internally consistent as possible for Apocalypse.

How to use these datacards

Data Url: https://www.fundamalleus.com/assets/battlescribe-data/index.bsi

On PC you go Manage Data (three rectangles) -> Import Data -> Import Data from URL -> use our data URL.

On Mobile go Manage Data (three rectangles) -> 3 dots -> Add data index url -> use our data URL.
