Hi, here are the notes from our meeting. We can each pick one thing from the list below:

• List of things to work on:

  • How are our competitors solving this problem (TEEM, RobinPowered.com)
  • Setting up a shared workspace (github etc)
  • Which OpenSource or other APIs can we use to collect meeting information from Google Calendar, MS Exchange
  • Which OpenSource, other APIs or algorithms can we use to schedule meeting with required and optional attendees
  • Create mock data: people (their meeting preferences, preferred meeting time for general audience, for executives, least preferred meeting time, blocked meeting time, timezone, company, favorite conference rooms), conference rooms (locations, capacity, video capability),

• List of questions for customer:

  • Preferred medium of Application, Browser, Mobile
  • Minimum viable product: Give us a single use case that this product MUST support
  • How important is the use case of showing directions to a room?

Tuesday Feb. 8, 2018 [5-6 pm EST]

• Logistics

  • get in touch with customer (Angelo Morello @Pfizer) - propose and agree on requirements, and constraints
  • choose tools - make sure to include one web framework
  • set up local environment
  • set up github and invite Nico (done - https://github.com/noorzaman/emp)
  • set up slack or other chat application (done - https://meeting-planner.slack.com)
  • set up task management tool - e.g. trello, asana

• Milestone 1 Deliverables (March 1st):

  • list of specs and constraints approved by customer
  • proposed schedule - when will we deliver what - define the project milestones
  • list of technologies we will be using - languages, tools, frameworks, libraries
  • list of potential risks and how to address them - e.g. scope creep, integration issues
  • list of journals we could potentially publish this to
