You can use our web interface to directly edit your repository's wiki pages.

  1. In the top right corner of any page, click your profile photo, then click Your profile. Profile photo

  2. On your profile page, click the Repositories tab, then click the name of your repository. Repository tab

  3. Under your repository name, click Wiki. Wiki menu link

  4. Using the wiki sidebar, navigate to the page you want to change, and then click Edit. Wiki edit page button

  5. Wiki pages can contain any markup that GitHub supports. The default choice is Markdown, but you can use the "Edit mode" drop-down menu to switch to a different markup language. Wiki markup selection

  6. Use the text editor to type the content you want your page to have. You can also use the wiki toolbar at the top for entering text via a graphical WYSIWYG editor. Wiki WYSIWYG

  7. Enter a commit message describing your changes. Wiki commit message

  8. To commit your changes to the wiki, click Save Page.
