Marketing

As opposed to fancy big companies, you are an upstart. Which can be good and bad. Make it personal? Not sure. Results will speak for themselves I think.

  • The most awesome thing you can do is tag us in a post about our stuff. Not only do we love seeing our kits and tools in action, but it's incredibly helpful to our small business. Reasonable and effective paid advertising opportunities are almost nonexistent, we rely on social media to spread the word about our stuff. Thank you!

Consumers must intuitively value the product without needing an extensive explanation of it. (pull marketing vs. push marketing)

Why now? Why me?

Timing of "pull"

  • Products that consumers always wanted but couldn’t get until now (arg. Products that consumers could always get but only now badly want.

The painkiller market is, at least initially, fairly small (so uninteresting for larger companies). Photophobia, older folks that drive a lot in the sun / clouds.

We'll see if people want BLE connection in the long run, but for now it's lean and mean and robust.
