Simplex

The Simplex synth module creates basic (but useful!) noise variations.

Settings

• Palette - selects the color palette to use
• Repeat - sets the number of times the palette repeats
• Scale - makes the noise larger or smaller
• Speed - sets the animation speed
• Ridges - turns on or off applying ridges to the noise
• Refract - sets the amount to refract the noise

Additional Settings

This module has additional settings under the ≣ menu.

• Seed - sets the seed that is used to randomize the noise
• Motion Blur - blends the noise with previous frame, causing a blur effect (pro)
• Cycle Colors - turns on or off cycling of the color palette
