Settings

Settings are a Pro feature that is accessible from the ⚙ on the main control bar.

General

2 Post Modules

When enabled, this activates a second post-processing module. When loading a preset that uses both post-processing modules, this option will be enabled. (Default is disabled)

Hide Modules

Select a list of modules you wish to be hidden. These modules will not appear in the select dropdowns and will not be randomized to. Please note that loading a preset that uses a hidden module will override your preference.

If you wish to disable the camera, just add the All Seeing Eye module to your list of hidden modules.

Output

Resolution

You can set the width and height of your Noisedeck output here. You can choose one of the presets, or input your own custom resolution. (Default is 720 x 720, minimum is 8 x 8 and maximum is 2048 x 2048)

If you set the resolution to 64 or less in either direction, Noisedeck will scale the canvas view to fill the default area (720 x 720). This scaled view will not impact the PNG/GIF/MP4 output - it will still match the resolution you have set.

Please note that the MP4 video encoder requires even-numbered resolutions.

Display Scale %

Scale the canvas by the specified percentage. This is useful if you want to zoom into a very small canvas or zoom out of a very large canvas without affecting the size of the output. (Default is 100)

Duration

This is the recording length of the GIF or video. (Default 1.5 seconds, minimum is 0 and maximum is 10)

Framerate

This is the frames per second of the GIF or video. (Default is 20, minimum is 15 and maximum is 60)

Recording Type

Set the output of the main record function to PNG, GIF, or Video. (Default is PNG)

Video Type

Selects the type of video to output. The first option uses an external MP4 / h264 library, the second option uses the MediaRecorder API. (Default is the first MP4 option)

On most platforms and browsers, the second option is WebM / VP8. On MacOS and iOS with Safari, the second option is another version of MP4 / h264. There will likely be more options in the future with improved cross-platform browser support.

Show Watermark

You can choose to enable or disable the Noisedeck watermark. (Default is disabled)

Input

Audio In

Enables or disables audio input (Default is disabled)

Sensitivity

Sets the sensitivity for the audio input (Default will be 50%)
