Noisemaker

The Noisemaker synth module is a mini version of the algorithm powering Noisemaker Bot.

Tip: Try adjusting the "scale" and/or "loop scale" settings if you find the noise to be too noisy.

Mobile tip: "Bicubic" blending can run slow on less-powerful devices. If you run into this, try switching to one of the other modes.

Settings

• Scale - makes the noise larger or smaller
• Blend - selects the "interpolation", or shape of the noise
• Refract - adjusts how shiny or glassy the noise is
• Loop Offset - selects the function that modifies the noise and causes the animation to loop
• Loop Scale - makes the looping function larger or smaller
• Loop Power - makes the looping function more or less intense
• Hue Rotate - adjusts which colors Noisemaker uses
• Hue Range - adjusts how many colors Noisemaker uses

Additional Settings

This module has additional settings under the ≣ menu.

• Seed - sets the seed that is used to randomize the noise
• Motion Blur - blends the noise with previous frame, causing a blur effect
• Wrap - make Noisedeck try to wrap the edges of the image around, if possible
