Julia

The Julia synth module is a simple interface for creating animated 2D fractals.

It takes a little patience and experimentation, but we think the results are worth it!

Tip: Turn the speed way down when zoomed in.

Settings

• Palette - selects the color scheme
• Zoom - zooms into or out of the fractal
• Speed - sets the animation speed, or how much the fractal changes
• Rotation - rotates the fractal
• Offset X - adjusts the shape and complexity of the fractal
• Offset Y - adjusts the shape and complexity of the fractal
• Center X - moves the horizontal center
• Center Y - moves the vertical center

Additional Settings

This module has additional settings under the ≣ menu.

• Motion Blur - blends the noise with previous frame, causing a blur effect
• Cycle Colors - turns on or off cycling of the color palette
