Feedback Synth

The Feedback Synth pro module reads in and manipulates the previous frame's output. This effect accumulates over time, creating an "echoing" series of frames which can be used for zoom or blur type effects.

Settings

Since feedback is applied again and again as frames accumulate, a small change to any of these values can be significant.

Likewise, mixer and post-processing settings become very sensitive when using feedback. Finding the sweet spot for your composition may take more fiddling than usual. Our recommendation is to use only one feedback module, and make small changes!

  • Scale - makes the feedback zoom in or out across frames
  • Rotate - rotates the feedback across frames
  • Hue Rotate - nudges the hue across frames
  • Intensity - make the feedback darker or brighter across frames
  • Aberration - contribute chromatic aberration to the accumulated frames
  • Lens - contribute lens distortion to the accumulated frames

Additional Settings

This module has additional settings under the ≣ menu.

  • Aspect Lens - apply aspect ratio correction to lens
