Step #1

To create a new News article, go to the webpage of the new Databrowser and look for the Dataset "Articles by NOI" The direct Link: https://databrowser.opendatahub.com/dataset/table/tourism/v1/Article?source=noi On this Page, press on “Add a record”:

Step #2

In the category “Main data” you can put where to publish on to “NOI Community App” and also need to put the Source to “noi” All other fields are not of interest, you can leave them out.

Step #3

In the category “Text information” you can insert the Title, Base Text and Additional Text as in the old Data browser.

To also insert the data for different language, press on the **Language **you want to edit on the top right of the Page.

Step #4

In the category “Contact” you can insert the Name ”NOI Techpark”, the Email “[email protected]”, a Webpage URL as in the old data browser and the Logo. ([email protected] is the default mail but can always be replaced by another contact)

For the Logo, it is important to use one of the following URLs because none others will display correctly.

Step #5

In the category “Images” you can insert the images via pressing on “Add new image” and drag and drop the image in the field. Also, you can adjust the ordering by sliding the images up and down.

Step #6

In the category “Article Details”, it is important to either select "True" or "False" for the Highlight field. Articles with Highlight "True" would be placed always on top. Insert “newsfeednoi” as the Main Type. Insert also the Dates for the News to show up in the specified date range.

Step #7

In the category “License” you have to put the License Information. In most cases, the License if “CC0” and the License Holder is “https://noi.bt.it”

Push Button

In the table view of the NOI news dataset on the data browser you fan find the push button on the very right of each entry.

In the pop-up that appears when pressing on the push button, you can send the push notification impatiently to the NOI Community App with pressing on the "Send out the Push-Notifications" button.

Check if Push was send

To ensure a push notification was sent, you can press the "Send Push" button in the table view again. Information about the sent pushes will be displayed in the gray area.

Important to know: right after sending the push, you will need to refresh the page before the information is shows correctly in pop-up.
