A form similar to the event form opens. Fill in the following fields.
Room management
This contains more information about which room the event happens in
To add a room, ensure you have selected a source in the main data section.
Select Add new room. Click on the edit button (the pen icon on the far right) to fill in the fields about room management
- Title: name of the room
- Capacity: number of people the room can accommodate, if known
- SquareMeters: total floor area of the room in square meters (for example 85), if known
- Mapping: leave empty
Fill in the other details. Save the changes and return to the Events dataset and continue to insert details about the event.
One day events
Events that extend over a maximum of one day are entered with start and end dates and are visualized on all channels.
If the total time of an event, including set-up and dismantling, differs from the official times (for example it starts an hour earlier and ends half an hour later), add a separate entry with the full times and set Active to false. This books the room internally without showing the extra time on the channels.
Multiple day events
Events that extend over several days can be entered for the whole period, for example 1.11. to 3.11. from 9:00 to 16:00. In the details, create a separate room booking for each day.
For example:
- Day 1: room booking 1.11. from 9:00 to 17:00
- Day 2: room booking 2.11. from 9:00 to 17:00
- Day 3: room booking 3.11. from 10:00 to 16:00
This ensures participants find the exact times for each day.
- The today.noi.bz.it channel displays events based on rooms.
- The website and app display events based on events. For multi-day events, the event tile shows only the date range, while the detail view lists each day with its start and end times.
- Entries with Active set to false are not used for the displayed times.
