Turret Weapons

There are three kind of turrets; energy, hybrid and projectile. Energy turrets belong to two distinct categories; pulse and beam lasers, energy turrets also use crystal ammunition that has no reload time and they are favored by the Amarr faction. Now, Hybrid turrets have Blasters which are close range, the Railguns that are for long range situation and particurarly liked by Caldari and Gallente pelots alike and commonly used on both Frigates, and Destroyers. Finally the Projectile have two kinds; Autocannons that are used for close range, and the Artilerry Cannons that are medium to long range that deal good alpha damage and they are favored by the Minmatar faction especially on Frigates and Destroyers.

Energy Turret

  • Use Crystal as ammunition.
  • No reload
  • Short range: Pulse Lasers
  • Long Range: Beam Lasers
  • Favored by Amarr

Hybrid Turret

  • Use Hybrid charges as ammunition.
  • Deal Kinetic and Thermal damage.
  • Short range: Blasters
  • Long range: Railguns
  • Favored by Caldari and Gallente

Projectile Turrets

  • Use Projectile ammunition.
  • No capacitor required to fire.
  • Can deal kinetic, explosive and EM damage.
  • Short range: Autocannons
  • Long range: Artillery Cannons
  • Favored by Minmatar
