Personalized Skincare
L’Oreal created a sensor that measures skin PH levels so consumers can get a tailored product recommendation. I want to know how they built a sensor that could help everyone find products that work for their type of skin. They said they employ AI technology so I’m guessing L'Oreal needed to build a database on all different types of skin conditions, and once it scans closest to what the user has, they recommend a product.
Johnson & Johnson is also releasing an app for personalized face masks. All users have to do is scan their face and Neutrogena ships the masks to the users' house. I’m assuming its similar technology as L’Oreal. I'm really interested in this new personal skin care since its a problem I’ve been dealing with all my life.
