Why should we try WebView2 at all when we have Selenium?

I've been looking for a chance to leave the Selenium continuum for quite a long time. Unfortunately, it is not unusual for a selenium-based test suite to work for hours and to fail just because the star configuration was considered by selenium as unlucky. Before we had no decent web control to try, but in 2020 WebView2 was released. It fully supports HTML5 and JavaScript and so we should be able to test any chromium-compatible website... and any website nowadays is supposed to be compatible with chromium.
