The examples described here are used to learn and understand the shift system of jwmanagement.org
IMPORTANT: If a new project is going to be set up, please do the following steps before creating/uploading the users. At least "tags" need to be created because for every user there are tag-permissions to set. Without these a user will not be able to participate in any shift in this project.
A weekly shift for the inner city of "Schönhausen" is to be created for the trolley service. Every Monday and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m..
The shift should be confirmed immediately for a minimum of 2x publishers and a maximum of 3x publishers. There should be two meeting points: Start at "Town Hall" and end at "Market Square". The shift should have additional informations and a link to the route to google maps.
Overview/Settings/Tags
- Set up a tag-name. For example "Trolleyservice"
- Choose a picture. For example "Trolley"
Overview/Settings/Teams
- Name your team, choose one or two short words! For example "Inner City"
- Maybe add some additional information or a link to google Maps*
How to use google maps is not a part of this wiki
Overview/Settings/Meeting Point
- Add meeting point "Marketplace"
- Load up a picture
- Add another meeting point "Town Hall"
Overview/Settings/Tags
Add a template week using the "+" symbol in the tag section and name it. For example "weekly".
- Edit the template using the "🔧" symbol " and clicking "🔧Edit shifts"
- To create a new shift use the blue "+" symbol which is placed underneath every day. A new shift is created. Click on the shift to edit all the details, such as time, tags, sceduling option, teams, number of participants and meeting points.
- With "Copy shift" you can create similar shifts like the one you created for every day in your template week
Overview/Shifts
Leave the settings section and go to the "Shifts"-section. Click on the actual week which is displayed in the centre. A drop-down opens, choose "Add a new week".A calendar opens, choose the week you want to add and the template week you want to apply for that week. For example (Trolleydienst --> Wöchentlich).
Each shift is going to be set up for that week exactly as you configured the template week.
