Day 26 and Day 27 - nikkiverre/Teacup_Firmware GitHub Wiki

Happy Friday! I wanted to talk about my progress thus far with Teacup and Marlin.

Teacup

As you can see from the pictures, Teacup isn't making the transitions as smoothly as we saw with the "original" brain. If you notice, you will notice excess filaments or blogs around the corners. I am still messing with the settings in Teacup to get it more smoother. I have enabled LOOKAHEAD in the config.h file and messed with different Acceleration and Jerk values. Once I get some good values, I'll make sure to post them. I never actually finished the print job because the nozzle gets stuck in the blobs. But it's almost there!

Marlin Now that I have Teacup almost working, I thought I would tackle Marlin again. I uploaded the Teensy with what I have so far and the motors moved!! I actually took a video, watch below. I am moving the X axis to the right and left, the Y axis back and forward, and the Z axis up and down. The next step that I need to do is get the temperature code ported over to ARM. Once that's done, I can start heating the extruder and printing with Marlin! I'll also post the different configurations I used in Marlin.

Tomorrow and next week... Teacup, Marlin, and more 3D printing!

Until next time...
