Installing DubX
There are a few ways to install DubX.
- There is a Chrome Extension that will make sure that DubX is loaded whenever you are on dubtrack.
- You can use an User.js extension it will also load DubX when you are on dubtrack.
- Then there is the Bookmarklet that you load yourself when you are on dubtrack.
Chrome Extension
Chrome has extensions and you can have them installed and updated by chrome for you. DubX has a Chrome Extension that will load DubX for you.
Install
On DubX's about there is a link to the webstore page. Just go to it and install it like you would any other chrome extension.
Reload Dubtrack
After you install the Chrome Extension you will need to let it load so reload the dubtrack page.
User.JS Extension
If you want to use the User.js extension you will need Greasemonkey or an alternative to it installed in your browser. Take a look at the Greasemonkey FAQ for help with it. Google userscript for your browser (ie. Userscript Chrome) and use the one you want.
Install
Once you have it set up just click on the User.JS button on DubX's about page.
Reload Dubtrack
After you install the User.js you will need to let it load so reload the dubtrack page.
Bookmarklet
If you don't want to use extension forms there is another way. You can use what is called a bookmarklet. A Bookmarklet is a small script put into a bookmark to perform a simple task. Google provides one for translating pages.
All you need to do is drag the Bookmarklet to your Bookmark bar then click on it when your on the dubtrack site.
So first go to the DubX about page where the "downloads" are. Then Drag and Click as needed.
Drag
Drag the Bookmarklet.
Click
Click the Bookmarklet.
Rename
You can rename the Bookmarklet at anytime.
