Use Case: Open and Start Qlikview App ID: UC1 Actor: User Preconditions: Qlikview Version 10 or higher has been installed on the user’s computer or accesses the app online through Qlikview Access Point Flow of Events: 1. User double click on the “How To Use Qlikview” Application 2. User is welcomed with the home screen of the app. Post Conditions: User can now select a learning category or watch the Qlikview Product Tour


Use Case: Watch Qlikview Product Tour ID: UC2 Actor: User Preconditions: Opened “How To Use Qlikview” Application and is on Home screen Flow of Events: 1. Click on the Qlikview Product Tour image link. 2. A browser window is opened of the Qlikview Product Tour on YouTube.com Post Conditions: User remains on the Home Screen of the App


Use Case: Select learning Category or Start program from beginning ID: UC3 Actor: User Preconditions: Opened “How To Use Qlikview” Application and is on Home screen Flow of Events: 1. Click on the Start Program on the Home screen. 2. Or select and of the 5 learning categories to learn from Post Conditions: User is taken to the beginning start of the learning program or their selected learning category.


Use Case: Learn Qlikview Objects ID: UC4 Actor: User Preconditions: Opened “How To Use Qlikview” Application, select 1st learning category or start learning program from start. Flow of Events: 1. Go through the various screens and familiarise yourself with common Qlikview Objects till complete. Post Conditions: User is taken to the second learning category “Basic Selection”


Use Case: Learn Basic Selection ID: UC5 Actor: User Preconditions: Opened “How To Use Qlikview” Application, select 2nd learning category or have completed the first learning category “Qlikview Objects”. Flow of Events:

  1. Go through a step by step learning guide on how to make basic selections in Qlikview.
  2. Each time the app will verify you’ve made the correct selection to allow you to go to the next screen.
  3. Go through each screen till completing the Basic Selection learning category. Post Conditions: User is taken to the third learning category “Qlikview Charts”

Use Case: Learn How to Use Charts ID: UC6 Actor: User Preconditions: Opened “How To Use Qlikview” Application, select 3rd learning category or have completed the 2nd learning category “Basic Selection”. Flow of Events: 1. Go through a step by step learning guide on how to use charts in Qlikview. 2. Each time the app will verify you’ve done the correct thing to allow you to go to the next screen. 3. Go through each screen till completing the Charts learning category. Post Conditions: User is taken to the 4th learning category “Qlikview Dates”


Use Case: Learn How to Select Dates ID: UC7 Actor: User Preconditions: Opened “How To Use Qlikview” Application, select 4th learning category or have completed the 3rd learning category “Qlikview Charts”. Flow of Events: 1. Go through a step by step learning guide on how to use dates in Qlikview. 2. Each time the app will verify you’ve done the correct thing to allow you to go to the next screen. 3. Go through each screen till completing the Qlikview Dates learning category. Post Conditions: User is taken to the 5th and final learning category “Learn How to Collaborate”


Use Case: Learn How to Collaborate ID: UC8 Actor: User Preconditions: Opened “How To Use Qlikview” Application, select 5th learning category or have completed the 4th learning category “Qlikview Dates”. Flow of Events: 1. Go through a step by step learning guide on how to collaborate in Qlikview. 2. Each time the app will verify you’ve done the correct thing to allow you to go to the next screen. 3. Go through each screen till completing the Qlikview Collaboration learning category. Post Conditions: User is taken is congratulated in completing Training app and taken back to the Home screen


Use Case: Verify Selection ID: UC9 Actor: User Preconditions: Opened “How To Use Qlikview” Application, and is on any one of the learning categories except “Qlikview Objects”. Flow of Events: 1. The user will be prompt to perform an action, e.g. Select “Central” in the Region list box. 2. The app will then verify if the user has performed the action correctly. 3. If the user has made the correct selection the “Next” button will become visible. Post Conditions: The “Next” button will become visible and the user can proceed to the next step.
