Context Scenarios (Brainstorm Stage) - nicolehsieh/Find-It-Fix-It GitHub Wiki
Scenario 1:
Elrich leaves the house in the morning and heads to work. It’s one of the rare sunny days in Seattle, so he decides to walk instead of taking a bus. He’s walking down the street, enjoying rays of sunshine on his face. Suddenly, he trips over a pothole and falls face down on a sidewalk. His coffee is spilled, favorite shirt is ruined, and his face is all fucked up. But Elrich cares a lot about his city and its residents [goal]. So before going to ER he opens “Find it, Fix it”, takes a picture of the pothole (and a selfie because reasons), and reports that pothole. As he is waiting for a doctor in ER, he checks the status of the issue he just reported and sees that it changed to “W.I.P”. His face is still a mess, but at least it was all for a good cause! [benefit]
Scenario 2:
Andy is biking to work in the morning down 2nd Ave. He’s going pretty fast, and in the process of watching his surroundings for cars, he hits a pothole and almost crashes his bike. This is the third time this has happened this week. He is frustrated and wants to take action immediately.
Scenario 3:
Sandra was biking to school and on the way to school she noticed that someone threw out their sofa on the corner of the block. She feel it’s not the correct way of disposing large furniture. The person could’ve donated it to some organization or have them come pick up instead of just leaving it on the side of the sidewalk. So she then got out her phone and snap a picture of it and report it.
