At the beginning of the week, the velocities on the two radius motors was inconsistent, so we tested it while monitoring the heat levels on the board to see if anything was heating up too much. The way we tested it was running a loop that varied the speed of the motor. We could see it wasn't working, so we tried re-flashing the software onto the board, but this didn't actually solve anything. We still were having problems with one of the ports of the ODrive, which lead us to deem it a broken board. This was unfortunately a major roadblock, there is literally nothing else we can do with this whole project until it is fixed. We tried doing online research, we even went on the ODrive forum and posted something ourselves, but nothing has helped. We've decided to order a new one and use this one to control the theta motor once it's back from the machine shop. Now we wait.
