ICT Mentorship Core Content - Month 04 - Orderblocks

Content

  • Bullish OB (+OB)

    • Definition, the lowest candle or price bar with a down close that has the most range between Open to Close and is near a "Support" level (old or near term low).
    • Validated, when the high of the +OB is traded through by a later formed Candle.
    • Entry Technique, when the price trades higher away from the +OB and then returns to the +OB high, this is bullish.
    • Define Risk with +OB, low of the +OB candle is a relatively safe Stop Loss placement. Just below 50% of the +OB total range is also a safe place to move stops and reduce risk once price as moved away from the +OB
    • Price shouldn't trade below 50% of the +OB
    • Measure open and close of candle use the body do not use the wicks.
    • Stops can be set at low of wick but should focus on body of the OB candle.
    • We enter in Internal Range Liquidity (high of OB) and Target External Range Liquidity at a higher high.
  • Bearish OB (-OB)

    • Definition, the highest candle or price bar with an up close that has the most range between Open to Close and is near a "Resistance" level (old or near term high).
    • Validated, when the low of the -OB is traded through by a later formed Candle.
    • Entry Technique, when the price trades lower away from the -OB and then returns to the -OB low, this is bearish.
    • Define Risk with -OB, high of the -OB candle is a relatively safe Stop Loss placement. Just above 50% of the -OB total range is also a safe place to move stops and reduce risk once price as moved away from the -OB
    • Price shouldn't trade above 50% of the -OB
    • Measure open and close of candle use the body do not use the wicks.
    • Stops can be set at high of wick but should focus on body of the OB candle.
    • We enter in Internal Range Liquidity (low of OB) and Target External Range Liquidity at a lower low.
  • Liquidity Based Bias

    • Bearish

    • Monthly Chart = Bearish

    • Weekly Chart = Bearish

    • Daily Chart = Bearish

    • Intraday Charts 4 hour and less will be correcting and retracing higher. This is where we anticipate the market to enter a premium and seek BSL to sell to.

    • Protective Buy Stop Raids or returns to -OBs or FVGs and or filling LV.

    • Each offer potential LRLR

    • Shorting for a target under a recent low.

    • Primary targets recent low on daily chart.

    • Track Weekly and Monthly POIs on the Daily chart as additional objectives and or confluence.

    • Bullish

    • Monthly Chart = Bullish

    • Weekly Chart = Bullish

    • Daily Chart = Bullish

    • Intraday Charts 4 hour and less will be correcting and retracing lower. This is where we anticipate the market to enter a discount and seek SSL to buy from.

    • Protective Sell Stop Raids or returns to +OBs or FVGs and or filling LV.

    • Each offer potential LRLR

    • Buying for a target above a recent high.

    • Primary targets recent high on daily chart.

    • Track Weekly and Monthly POIs on the Daily chart as additional objectives and or confluence.
