1. Welcome
2. NEST-3.0 semantics discussion
   • inclusion of GIDCollections (from create nodes/layers), no way to distinguish layers and collections when printing
   • storing metadata in the GIDCollection members, not as subclass, since a generic mechanism can cover many applications. (Dictionary based access method)
   • different options to be discussed:
     • additional generic get/set_metadata
     • new class members
     • more classes / subclasses
3. Discussion about Github Projects
   • close finished projects
   • open new projects for sorting issues
   • discussion needs to be continued regarding grouping of issues
4. Are we building the right user-level documentation? Registration now open!
   • presentation of workshop goals and scope
5. Review of NEST User Mailing List
   • all requests already handled
6. Review of open Github Pull Request
   • updates and discussion of all PRs, explanations and related projects
7. Review of open Github Issues
   • brief discussion of currently failing build because of Travis-CI log message issue (to be handled in Extend and improve CI project)
   • (discussion skipped due to end of meeting)
