Installing Visual Studio Community 2017

In order to write down your assignments, you will need to install the Visual Studio workspace. Please install it by the instructions below. If you already have it installed, You can move on to your assignments in the Piazza.com system.

Part 1: Downloading the Visual Studio Community 2017

Download the workspace from here.

Press the "Free Download" button, under "Visual Studio Community 2017" section, it is the left one.

Part 2: Installing the workspace

1. Run the file you have downloaded in the previous step.
2. Press the "Continue" button.
3. Check the "Universal Windows Platform Development", and the ".NET Desktop Development" checkboxes, under "Windows" section.
4. Press "Install", and follow other instructions if needed.
5. Wait until the installation is finished.

Part 3: Registering the product

You will need to insert a username and a password into the system. Pay attention please, you should follow the instructions:

1. Click on "Add an account" in the bottom-left side of the screen.
2. Register the username: [email protected]
3. Regsiter the password: Ness12345
4. Click "Register".
