Elgato has ended their Elgato App Store platform, and replaced it with the Elgato Marketplace. The Elgato Marketplace requires an account to access and is much harder to incorporate into OpenDeck directly, so you have to download plugins from it manually. Luckily, you can install the plugin from elsewhere, or you can consult the step-by-step guide below.

Installation from the Elgato Marketplace

[!WARNING] Elgato's Discord plugin requires a patch to work on Linux. If you are using OpenDeck on Linux, do not install the Discord plugin from the Elgato Marketplace. Instead, install it from OpenDeck's plugin manager, as the version available there is already patched and working.

  1. Log in to your Elgato Marketplace account, or create one if you don't have one already.
  1. Navigate to the product page of the plugin that you wish to install, and click the large "Get" button.
  1. Close the popup window that opens, as the automatic installation only works with the official Elgato software.
  1. Click on your profile image in the top-right corner to access your account page.
  1. Navigate to the "Products" tab of your account page.
  1. Select the plugin you wish to install.
  1. Click the download icon to download the .streamDeckPlugin file to your computer.

  1. Open the OpenDeck plugin manager by clicking the "Plugins" button in the bottom right of the OpenDeck interface.

  2. Click the "Install from file" button and select the file you just downloaded to install the plugin.

    • If you are prompted for a plugin ID, upgrade to OpenDeck v2.4.3 or newer, or enter the plugin ID which should look like dev.theca11.whack-a-mole.
