5.3 Vlan mirroring

Let's say we want to mirror to dum001 port

  • all vlan 400 traffic

5.3.1 Configuration

port mirror

  • a Select Mirror section
  • b Delete any prior mirror configuration
  • c Enter a name for this new mirror, for example "vlanmirror"
  • d Select 'all ports' checkbox
  • e Enter vlan number: 400
  • f Enter "dumm001" in output port
  • Push g to create "vlanmirror". You should see it appear in mirror list h

5.3.2 Wireshark capture

You can now launch wireshark and have it capture interface dumm01 wireshark
