5.2 Port mirroring

Let's say we want to mirror to dum001 port

  • all traffic that comes from P02
  • all traffic that goes to P02 or P03

5.2.1 Configuration

  • a Select Mirror section
  • b Enter a name for this new mirror, for example "mymirror"
  • c Select P02 port and click button d to add it to src port list
  • Select P02 port (c) and SHIFT-select P03 port (e), then click button f to add them to dst port list.
  • g Select dumm001 port and click button h to add it to output port (i)
  • Push j to create "mymirror". You should see it appear in mirror list k

5.2.2 Wireshark capture

You can now launch wireshark and have it capture interface dumm01 wireshark
