This is the first draft agenda when I was asked to do this intro - most of it is covered in the [project board] but I'm popping it here to try an cover anything I might have missed.

Some notes
- I'll try not to be too technical
- Ask questions (I don't know everything, not even nearly everything)
- It's not the right way the right way, or the best way, or even the only way of using Slack or Github. It's just a way.
- I'll throw in some tips that might be useful - but you'll probably learn better ways
- There's lots I don't know and plenty that's beyond the scope of this talk - but try it out
- Create a sandbox in your personal Github and see what you can do
- Take advantage of the fact that Slack lets you talk to yourself
- Get the Slack app on your phone and you'll have a neat way of sharing things between devices
- You can set yourself "away" and set times not to get notifications
