Summary

Using a Kali USB (image) and physical (virtual) access to a device we were able to gain access to the bios settings and change the boot priority to the removable media. This allowed us to boot up kali and change CMD to utilman.exe and access it from the login screen. With this we created another user which allowed us to gain access tothe windows machine.

Reflection

It is important to have policies in place and restrictions on USB devices allowed in a workplace. This could also include software restrictions and locking the BIOS down so that this cannot be exploited
