Local- You can find out if it's a policy on Local which is the 1st processed (most control) Site level Domain- this is the next to be processed(control over everything below it, but not over local) Organizational Unit- It then goes down to OUs has no control over Local or Site

Wireless Standards Wireless Technologies Wireless Encryption Reading Consider the history: That Time When Women Stopped Coding

What occurred during the same time as the beginning of the decline of women in computer science?

  • personal computers were popular to buy for the home, including other electronic devices. Although this may be true, this article should not be taken too seriously because correlation does not equal causation anyone that has taken any simple science class learns this, basic 101. And further studies need to be made, and best way to find out real information is to read published journals in the science department of a University that has done thousands of studies.

Why does it matter that males had been playing on computers growing up?

I certainly am not male and I grew playing with computers. It matters that I grew up having an intuitive relationship and communication with technology, because it allows me to figure my way out faster through it than it does my siblings, since they were not so fond of computers. Ask the question: Why diversity matters to your tech company

  • Diversity matters becuase especially in an industry that is super competitive, you want the upper hand in ideas, innovation, perspectives, solutions, faster, better, unpredictable, constantly growing.

When are diversity efforts most successful?

  • When diversity is looked as a net good for innovation, ideas, upper-hand. It fails when diversity is for diversity sake, and someone is getting a job that is not bringing anything to the table. If they are bringing something to the table, then diversity has done it's job.

Why do diverse companies perform better?

In the same way that IPv6 has more to work with than IPv4

Give an example of how a diverse company can serve a diverse user base or vise-versa.

  • There are so many apps in Japan that are unknown to the English speaking world, imagine the market that has yet to be reached, or vice versa, what we have available to use here, most people in other countries have to know English to use. Imagine bringing it to them in their own language. There's a market for that. Hence why you'll find Youtube videos in multi-languages, or programs and applications designed and built for 1 purpose, and that's to translate.
