Goals
Our main goals for our app Innovix are to try and reduce the overwhelming options of dating by selectively pairing people based on their compatibility using AI, try and help identify what qualities that people truly value in a partner through trial and error, changing the way people find love by fostering meaningful connections through innovative technology, increasing the number of users who meet up for a date after connecting on the app, and ultimately help people find a long term partner.
Ultimately the idea of our app came from the lack of dating apps that provide a long term relationship and from a desire to create a more meaningful and authentic dating experience. We were frustrated with the superficiality and swipe-based nature of many popular dating apps, and we wanted to create an app that would encourage users to connect with potential partners on a deeper level. We also wanted to create an app that would be more inclusive and welcoming to people of all backgrounds and identities.
Driven by a desire to cultivate meaningful connections and enduring relationships, our dating app is committed to fostering authenticity, respect, and inclusivity. We believe in empowering individuals to present their genuine selves and interact with potential partners in a respectful and considerate manner. Our mission is to revolutionize the online dating landscape by nurturing deeper connections based on shared interests, values, and mutual understanding. Our guiding questions; How can we foster deeper and more authentic connections between users?, How can we create a safe and inclusive space for individuals from diverse backgrounds?, How can we leverage technology to enhance the dating experience without compromising authenticity? serve as touchstones to direct our efforts ensuring that our app remains a safe and inclusive space for individuals from all backgrounds.

Team
Kurt DelaCruz
Kurt is a student at California State University East Bay pursuing a major in Computer Science. He received his Associates of Arts and Sciences degree at San Joaquin Delta Community College in Math & Sciences and Art & Humanities. Kurt also attends University of California of Berkeley through the ROTC program, where he learns and cultivates leadership and discipline skills. He has learned a lot from 3 jobs of retail experience cultivating his expertise in his service skills with individuals. In the result benefiting with his organization skills and responsibility to tackle the tasks at hand. He is one of the founders of Innovix, one of his goals is to become a cybersecurity analyst to protect the privacy and safety of individuals. His vision for Innovix is to become a safe place to meet new people and foster meaningful connections through innovative technology.
Van Nguyen
Van is currently pursuing a degree in computer science at Cal State Eastbay University. With a passion for technology and a strong desire to make a positive impact on people's lives. She understands the power of technology in bringing people closer together, and her goal is to harness this potential to help individuals connect on a deeper level. She is one fourth of the founding members of Heartlink. Her vision is to create a revolutionary dating app that transcends geographical boundaries, enabling people from all corners of the globe to find their true love.
Nikolas Alvarado
Nikolas Alvarado is one fourth of the founding members of Heartlink. One of their goals is to ensure diversity as well as finding a person place amongst the crowd. Heartlink's app is to ensure the people are heard and find their pair. They are a current student at California State East Bay studying Computer Science and Ethics and an avid member, leader, and Cultural Director in the Pilipinix American Student Association, sharing similar goals of inclusivity and sharing history about Filipino Culture in order to create connections within the community.
Matthew Jian

Matthew is a current student at California State East Bay and is studying Computer Science. One of Matthew’s goals is to make sure peoples opinions are heard and to make sure they feel like they matter. Matthew currently serves as one of the four founding members of Innovix, a dating app where the goal is to make sure that people find their true romantic calling instead of being drafted in a sea of candidates.

The app requires women to make the first move, which has helped to create a more respectful and empowering environment for users. We learned a number of things from Bumble's success. First, it is important to have a clear niche and to tailor your app to the specific needs and interests of that niche. Second, it is important to create a safe and respectful environment for users. Third, it is important to be innovative and to experiment with new features and algorithms.

Our app will differentiate itself from the competition in a number of ways: Namely our ai dating app will elevate the user experience and foster meaningful connections by employing advanced artificial intelligence to enhance engagement, match quality, and overall satisfaction. Specifically by analyzing users' preferences and behaviors to suggest relevant profiles, activities, and conversation topics, keeping them engaged and intrigued. Our ai will also leverage location data to suggest matches and activities that align with their interests and convenience. By leveraging ai to enhance engagement, match quality, and user satisfaction, our dating app will revolutionize the way people connect and find meaningful relationships which is how our dating app is differentiated from the competition.
