CTRL-J ALT-D BUFFER ENABLE, TUNE ALT-D ENABLE, and TWO RADIO MODE.
If possible, use WinKey
WK offloads CPU cycles helping prevent CPU overload. Additionally, WK has the ability to switch rig keying
automatically.
Turn off ALL BANDS
Try turning OFF BAND MAP ALL BANDS.
By right clicking on the BM and de-selecting BAND MAP ALL BANDS, you will see
only the S&P band. It will automatically switch when you change the inactive band. If you exploit this feature, you
probably want to select QSY INACTIVE RADIO.
Exploit Sending on the S&P radio
By using function keys setting <01> preceding your msg, sending will occur on the inactive radio.
You may also use <01><02> which will switch focus if your next entry is a callsign- but keep in mind
that sending something like <01><02>CQ \ whilst copying an exchange on the run radio, will LOG the extant qso
against the other radio !
Exploit ALT-D
By using ALT-D you can both dupe check and control switching radios.
If you are using spotting, the Alt-D will automatically load when tuning across a spot.
Consider setting an F-key to <03>ALT-D<04> and another Fkey to <03>SWAPRADIOS<04>
