PlexDrive4 is disk based - Best used for Plex

PlexDrive5 is RAM based - Only use if you have enough RAM!

Emby Users WARNING: If utilizing Emby and the PTS GSuite Edition, it's been reported that you need to utilize PLEXDrive5. Version 5 has been reported as not being as stable as Version 4. Note that Plex is the primary focus of this program. If you have any suggestions or recommendation, please note on the forums.

Configuring PlexDrive

In your SSH terminal, type sudo plexguide and navigate to "RClone & Plexdrive" > "PlexDrive" > "PlexDrive4" or "PlexDrive5".

You will have to wait until the message: "First cache build process finished" appears. Guess what? For you... we built in a script that automatically reboots for you! No more waiting around for PLEXDrive to finish.

Troubleshooting

Go to the PlexGuide menu > Server Information > View Services or type: sudo service plexdrive status
