To get the module working, you need 4 things:

1. Install the module
2. Install socketlib (https://github.com/manuelVo/foundryvtt-socketlib)
3. Turn on IWR in the PF2e system settings (if not on already)
4. Make sure you have a lore skill called "esoteric" "esoteric lore" or "lore esoteric"
