activities: bank of exercises with descriptions, identified by "shortname"

schedule: months, broken down into week segments. this is compiling the list of "blocks" of exercises to be performed during the year. the items defined are pointing to the name of the block (which in turn identify the shortname of the workout)

blocks: a week of exercises compiled. these are specialized even further depending on the time of year and whether a test is happening, or a race is coming up. note: duration is specified here, as endurance rides in the summer are shorter than ones in the winter, etc.

fitness: power numbers for the athlete. this is used for compiling target power for certain workouts (i.e. "maintain 350 for 3 minutes")
