remote computers - musebots/Musebots GitHub Wiki

While you're running a bunch of musebots 'locally' on your own computer, you may want to jam with someone running their own music AI software on another computer. Listening to messages they send you is easy - your musebot conductor automatically listens on port 7473 for any incoming messages, so if they have an application that sends to your computer on that port, you'll get their messages. If those messages are in the OSC musebot broadcast format of /broadcast/messageDescription botName messageData, they'll reach your musebots and make sense to them.

So now you want your bots to be able to send messages back. To do this, you'll need to know the target computer's IP address and the port to send to. Then you need to create a send port to that computer. The Max/MSP conductor includes functionality to do this automatically - you'll see it in the user interface.
