The UOC can sign technology transfer agreements with companies and institutions. These agreements can be established to perform, among others, the following actions:

• We specialize in the development of customized neural machine translation (NMT) systems tailored to any language pair and subject. Once the system is meticulously trained, our MTUOC server can be seamlessly configured. This versatile server is designed to be installed on any computer, with or without GPU units, and is compatible with virtual servers. Once operational, the server becomes a powerful tool for translating an unlimited number of texts, and there are no charges based on volume. Importantly, as the server can be locally deployed within your company premises, it ensures the utmost confidentiality. No sensitive information leaves your organization, guaranteeing complete data security.

• We also specialize in developing language resources, encompassing parallel and comparable corpora, as well as terminology databases. Our proficiency extends to automatic terminology extraction, where we leverage our proprietary tool, TBXTools, released with a free license and developed specifically for this purpose.

• We offer training courses tailored for companies and institutions, available both online and on-site, focusing on machine translation and terminology extraction. Our commitment extends to fostering collaboration with universities through engaging teaching activities, including the provision of complimentary seminars on machine translation and terminology extraction. Moreover, our teaching materials are openly accessible with a free license, allowing you to seamlessly integrate them into your own educational activities.
