The map tour that opens on first launch, all ten steps: route check, editing the route and [ ] fit, measure, the edit lock, turning and zooming the chart, your position, recording, comm fail, and the menus. Replay it any time from Settings โ†’ Show the tour.

Planning a flight, from route to filing

  1. Build a route by typing waypoint codes in search (LLHZ BAZRA DEROR SHARO HADRA FRDIS LLHA) and pressing Enter โ€” see Route and Legs.
  2. Click a waypoint for everything about it โ€” see Inspector.
  3. The flight plan: times, fuel and frequencies; a departure time gives an ETA per point, last light and the airfields' published hours.
  4. Submit the flight plan from the app.
  5. Route check: airspace, NOTAMs, SIGMET and weather at the time you fly.
  6. Print: pick a page size, and [ ] fits it to the screen.
