Are these the steps to do it correctly:

In the main issue (links above), check the checkbox for the one you are working on before starting the fix. Once you are done with the issue, go to the sub-issue by clicking on the appropriate link, and close that issue with a comment (for example, a screenshot or something). Some issues are assigned to you because of small iterations on provided work.
