Inside the search tab you can execute defined search queries. If you have not defined a search query, please define one at the [Search Definition](Search Definition) section.

Run a search query

  1. Please select a search query. After you have select a search definition, the application loads all associated system instances and in case you have already crawled using this search definiton, all last results will be displayed. 2015-02-24 20_56_40-facelet title
  2. After you have select a search query, you can start the crawl by clicking on the "Start Search" button. The duration of the crawl depends an several factors and can take several minutes. The progress bar displays the current progress. 2015-02-24 23_06_23-facelet title

View last search results

  1. Please select a search query. After you have select a search definition, the application loads all associated system instances and all data from the last crawl. 2015-02-24 23_11_24-facelet title

Overview system instances:

  • Total Items: All items, which are found by the search definition query.
  • Crawled Items: Items which are parsed and managed by the connector.
  • New Items Found: Items, which did not exists on the the local database. The connector will safe these items.
  • Local Items: Items, which are already safed to the local database. The connector will skip these items.
  • Query: Executed query
  • Request Url: URL of the web service.
  • Start time: Start time of the crawl.
  • Finished time: Finished time of the crawl.
  • System instance name: Name of the system instance, to which the execution info belongs.
  • Search state: Display the state of the crawl. In case of an error the state is "Failure" otherwise it is Success.
  • Message: Empty on search state "Success". On search state "Failure" the exception stack trace is displayed.

Data:

  • ID: Internal ID of the paper.
  • Title: Title of the paper.
  • DOI: Document Identifier of the paper.
  • Url 1: URL to the paper. URL is set by the connector.
  • Abstract text: Abstract of the paper.
  • Publication name:
  • Issue name: Name of the issue on which the paperwas published.
  • Publish date: Date on which the paperwas published.
  • Volume: Volume of the paper.
  • Start Page: Start page of the paper.
  • Issue identifier: Identifier of the issue.
  • Authors: Authors of the paper.
  • Affiliates Names: Affiliates of the paper.
  • Affiliates Countries: Affiliates countries of the paper.
  • Saved on local db: Date on which the paper was saved to local db.

Export last search result
