• For details about building source code under Windows read the specific walkthrough

• If you choose the Windows Subsystem for Linux approach put the shared folder outside the Ubuntu (or other guest OS) filesystem root directory. I.e. use:

  c:\gp\test\vita\
  

  instead of

  C:\Users\{user}\AppData\Local\Lxss\home\{username}\gp\test\vita\
