IRC8 is the most recent revision of the IRCX protocol that was actively used by MSN Chat.

There have been many attempts to re-create the MSN Chat Network, which includes the IRC7 Project to which this Wiki belongs.

About MSNLD

The Mono Chat project is a group of volunteers who are actively developing multiple projects which work together to re-create the experience that could once be achieved by visiting https://chat.msn.com/, or by visiting the Chat Room section of MSN Messenger.
