Security is similar to a tower defense game where you build multiple layers of defense. How and where does monitoring fit into the picture? Is it a crucial part of it or just a happy accident?

At Elastic, we’ve seen lots of logging and monitoring uses in security and have recently started to improve our tools to make them better suited for these use cases. This talk covers what we have learned so far and what ideas we have for the future.
